Privacy Policy
Every Inch ("we," "us," or "our") makes custom-fit drawer organizers. This policy explains what information we collect on this website, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We built this page because we ask for your email address when you sign up to be notified about our launch, and we want to be clear about what happens to it.
What we collect
Email address
If you submit the "Notify me at launch" form, we store the email address you provide along with the date and time of submission. This is used solely to send you an email when Every Inch officially launches.
Usage & analytics data
If you accept cookies via the banner on our site, we use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to understand traffic: approximate location (city/country, derived from IP address, never your precise address), device and browser type, and how you navigate the site. This helps us understand interest ahead of launch. If you decline, none of this is collected.
Anti-abuse verification
To keep our signup form free of spam and automated abuse, we use Google's reCAPTCHA Enterprise (via Firebase App Check) to verify that form submissions come from a real browser. This runs invisibly in the background and does not require you to solve any puzzle. It may process technical signals about your browser/device to produce a risk score; no personal profile is built or retained by us from this process.
Why we collect it
- To notify you by email when our store opens (the entire purpose of the signup form)
- To understand how many people are visiting and where interest is coming from, so we can plan our launch
- To prevent spam and automated abuse of our signup form
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Email addresses submitted through our form are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a secure cloud database. Access is restricted: our signup form can only add new entries, it cannot read, edit, or delete existing ones. Only we, as the site operators, can view the full list, via our own restricted Firebase account.
Cookies
We use a single consent banner to ask permission before loading any analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
Third-party services
We rely on Google/Firebase infrastructure to run this site, store signups, and (with your consent) measure traffic. Their handling of data is governed by Google's own privacy policy:
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the email address we hold for you at any time, free of charge, by emailing hello@everyinch.com. We'll action your request within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since we're a small, pre-launch team, we'll keep this simple and update it as our product and practices evolve.
